Finding a weapon on this map is extremely difficult in a team game. ZT made the lower RL their base so that was a no-go area to rush in with popguns, but we didn't make that mistake by and large.
When I did manage to tool up next, I camped the YA teleport for some time quite successfully - apart from one particularly stupid teammate kill from my very trigger-happy self. :) It had nothing to do with my eyesite - even though I don't use fullbright enemy skins - I just saw a kod walk down to press the button and 'forgot' he was down there, and shot him as he came up again. :)) Sorry Strider! (Then again, I'm not the only one! Once, I was making my way back across the moving platform from 100%... Blokes came thru the teleporter, watched me standing there for a whole 2 seconds before blapping me to pieces!!).
I left a teammate to guard YA and by a chance decision I camped the bottom two respawns near the ng, which also prevented the enemy from coming thru the passageway above. Kills were bountiful here and I wonder why we didn't come up with this in the tactics. However, our main idea of controlling Quad paid off coz ZT couldn't do much about it, and they had to sweat much of the game out down at the lower RL. I made the occasional non-Quaded trip to pick a few off at lower RL while I had the chance - like I wasn't supposed to :) - but I don't recall dieing by it.
ZT did well however and I make special mention to Legion who has improved a LOT since I last saw him playing for DPS. Now why didn't we get him? :)
All-in-all, the tactics won the day, despite a prettily disorganised execution of the plan. ;)
